Discover the Healing Traditions of the
Medicine Buddha to Cure the 3 Spiritual Poisons That Are Silently Afflicting You & Humanity

The Medicine Buddha is an ancient roadmap to treat the 3 greatest spiritual poisons affecting your health, happiness, and humanity’s well-being at large.

In this 3-part program, Robert Sachs will lovingly guide you on an enlightening path to achieve a more unlimited mind, a more resilient and resourceful body, and a life of greater spontaneity, love, joy and contribution.

If you’re a seeker of spiritual and physical health...

Then you’ve probably at one point or another felt:

  • Angry at the pharmaceutical industry that prescribes expensive drugs to treat mental and physical ailments, only to leave you dependent on substances without actually curing you.
  • Overwhelmed by the many choices of alternative healing, from meditation to acupuncture, Reiki, hypnosis, tapping, yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, homeopathy, progressive relaxation, and herbal treatments… which one is for you?
  • Confused at why many things that seem to work wonders for others don’t seem to work as well for you, leaving you caught in fluctuating cycle of self-doubt and cynicism.

What if you could escape this frustration with one
solution that heals the root cause of all ailments?

Imagine having one powerful and timeless solution that:

Could there really be one solution to heal mind, body, and soul? To heal humanity? To heal the world?

Yes, there is.

The answer has actually always been around us, but we have been too distracted and too busy in the flurry of our daily lives to notice it.

Today, you can reclaim this forgotten wisdom.

You’re about to discover the source and inspiration
behind many healing traditions of the world.

Sakyamuni is the 4th historical Buddha who meditated upon, realized, and practiced the very ancient wisdom of the Medicine Buddha.

For us, in the course of our known history he is, in effect, the First Doctor. Having entered the state of samadhi called “Eliminating All the Suffering and Afflictions of Sentient Beings”, he taught sick and dying people how to perform many different healing rituals.

His teachings were extremely powerful not just for healing of physical illnesses, but also the purification of negative karma. The Sakyamuni, as Medicine Buddha explained that karma could also be responsible for our illnesses when he said:

In sooth to every man that’s born,
A hatchet grows within his mouth,
Wherewith the fool, whenever he speaks,
And speaks amiss, doth cut himself...

Since then, the insight and power of his holistic healing principles has been a cure of all ailments – mentally, physically, and spiritually – of which many other healing traditions of the world stem from.

Unfortunately, many of today’s modern healing practices have strayed from the holistic healing traditions of the Medicine Buddha. Superficial methods, which consider only the outward symptoms of illness instead of the holistic well-being have dominated our lives.

This superficial approach is a symptom of imbalance of the energy of the world – a part of the karma of humanity as a whole – just as the Medicine Buddha had already predicted almost 2,500 years ago.

I will tell you more about the Buddha’s telling predictions of our time, but first allow me to tell you a little bit more about myself.

You won’t believe how a chance encounter with Buddhism set me on an unimaginable path of discovery

Hi, my name is Robert Sachs.

I am not ordained into a Buddhist monastery in any way. I’m simply a lay Buddhist practitioner living in California with my wife and three kids.

Perhaps, one thing different about me is that over the last 40 years, I’ve had the good fortune to have the teachers and the time to seek the benefits and blessings of studying and practising the Buddhist Dharma, or his teachings, along the way.

And it has enriched every area of my life, without having to sacrifice the modern life or American dream.

It all began with a chance encounter that happened on the road from Amsterdam to Paris.

During my travels, I met a man who had come from a Buddhist meditation centre in Scotland. As we were driving from Amsterdam to Paris, my curiosity got the better of me and I asked him what the Buddhist meditation centre was like. And he said:

“It’s the kind of place that whenever you turn a corner,
you walk into yourself.”

The words reverberated through my soul. I immediately knew I had to learn about Budhhism.

So I changed universities and went to the Budhhist meditation centre in Scotland. Since then, I have been a student of Tibeten Buddhism and its supporting disciplines. With a thirst for knowledge on well-being and health, I have sought education across various supplementing disciplines:

  • Graduated with a “B.A. in Comparative Religion and Sociology” at the University of Lancaster
  • Received my “Masters in Social Work” from the University of Kentucky
  • I am a licensed clinical social worker focusing on addictions, relationship, and issues around dying and death
  • Studied Macrobiotics with Michio Kushi and Rex Lassalle at the Kushi Institute and completed Shiatsu training with Rex Lassalle
  • Studied Hatha Yoga under the guidance of Jonathan O’Dell and Johanna Auld and became certified as a Hatha Yoga instructor with the All India Board and Inner London Education Authority in 1978
  • Trained as a Mental Health Counselor with the Richmond Fellowship.
  • Instrumental in starting the Community Health Foundation’s "Growing Family Center." in london
  • Has a massage license from Central Ohio School of Massage

In this journey I discovered a wealth of information that has shifted the way I view the world and it has transformed my life.

I have shared my discoveries and the wisdom of the healing sciences in my eight books, some of which have been translated into a number of foreign languages:

  • Tibetan Ayurveda: Health Secrets from The Roof of The World
  • Nine Star Ki: Your Astrological Companion to Feng Shui
  • Rebirth Into Pure Land
  • Perfect Endings: A Conscious Approach to Dying and Death
  • The Passionate Buddha: Wisdom on Intimacy and Enduring Love
  • The Buddha at War: Peaceful Heart, Courageous Action in Troubled Times
  • Wisdom of The Buddhist Masters: Common and Uncommon Sense

“Tibetan Ayurveda [by Robert Sachs] is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to live a life based on the wisdom of Ayurveda. I recommend it highly.”

Deepak Chopra,
Author of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,
Director of The Chopra Center for Well Being

Though I have authored eight books on various aspects of Tibetan Buddhism, I have yet to share the wisdom of the Medicine Buddha in dedicated singular resource. That’s why I’m very excited to let you know that for the first time, I have put together a one-stop learning resource to transform your life with the teachings of the Medicine Buddha.

"Before I tell you about what I have put together – as promised – I will tell you the telling prediction Sakyamuni made almost 2,500 years ago, and the problem he pointed out..."

Our Times Will Be Plagued by 3 Poisons
That Will Cause Disruption & Disease

Almost 2,500 years ago, the Sakyamuni Buddha predicted that our time period would be a time of great upheaval.

He saw that there would be much disturbance to what is known in Tibetan as Lung. In Indian Ayurveda, this is known as Prana, the subtle aspect of Vata. In the Chinese medical system, this is known as Chi.

The result of this upheaval would be strife in general, which would in turn translate into the health challenges of mental imbalance and illness, and chronic and degenerative disease, like cancers.

There is not one segment of our lives and society where we do not see the effect of this.

Sickness. Poverty. Warfare. Environmental degradation. The problem is pandemic. Our Lung is in great disturbance. And humanity is threatened.

The pain of this condition becomes too obvious and intolerable. We numb ourselves out with endless assortments of medication – drugs, alcohol, or entertainment distractions to mask over our emotional confusion and pain. We seek one temporary happiness to the next; unaware of the outer and inner sicknesses we are trapped in.

The Medicine Buddha pointed out that life shouldn’t have to be this way. He taught of a way to restore the Lung back into balance so that we can evolve and develop our inherent, happy spiritual nature. It begins with recognising the three poisons that has disrupted the Lung in the first place, and then taking proactive steps to transform these three poisons.

So what are the three greatest spiritual poisons afflicting us? They are...

Ignorance.
Attachment.
Aggression.

Just imagine how your life can change – and how you can change the
world around you – when you harness the power of transforming
humanity’s 3 greatest spiritual poisons.

In a melting pot world where absolutes truths are crumbling and our daily lives need attention, it is important to learn methods that transform the three poisons of ignorance, attachment, and aggression.

Ignorance is the root poison that drives the entire process. From ignorance, attachment and aversion arise. In the Buddhist sense, ignorance begins when we believe the self as being separate from everything else. We see the world as “I” and “them”. This arises to attachment of “I want this”; and to aggression when the “I” feels threatened by “them”.

Attachment is a greed that the Visuddhimagga (a Theravada Buddhist doctrine) explains as having a characteristic of “monkey lime”. Monkey lime is a sticky trap used by hunters in order to catch monkeys. Only the monkeys who are free from “folly and greed” do not get trapped.

Aggression in Buddhism can be defined as the fear of getting what we don’t want, or not getting what we do want. Its poison stems from the perception that the problem is outside ourselves: other people’s actions or unhappy events are the cause of our aversion, ill will, anger, irritation, annoyance, and animosity. It spreads and burns our own support – our mind and our body – for as long as we do not see that the real cause is within ourselves.

When you transform ignorance, attachment and aggression on all levels of the conscious mind, the subconscious mind, and the deepest layers of the heart, you immediately transcend the disturbing thoughts and emotions that plague us.

And because these disturbing thoughts and emotions have been obscuring the flow of the energetic wind – the Lung – in your body...

By transforming these three poisons, you will release a fresh flow of healing energy throughout your body, and throughout your life.

Eradicate the 3 poisons, transform your health, and accelerate an enlightened life with The Medicine Buddha from the honoured Tibetan Buddhism expert and author, Robert Sachs

Heal yourself and others of sickness to live a healthy, vibrant life

“The honesty, humility, wit, and wisdom Robert Sachs exudes in The Ecology of Oneness: Awakening in a Free World is the greatest demonstration of how the unconditional peace and love that our world yearns for can become the reality we live. With his many years involved with numerous wisdom traditions, no one is more worthy of delivering this very timely yet timeless book. Sachs grounds our spiritual pride and urges us to step out of the intellectual wisdom in our heads. He says enough with the spiritual clichés and concepts, it’s time to make a choice and let our spirituality be known through the life we live. Skillfully wise with extreme humor, this book leads us into a tribeless land where boundaries dissolve and compassion is king. It implores us to move into this land with fierce courage and an open mind, so that we can reside in the oneness of this land as it is at the root of our hearts.”

The knowledge of what we need to heal and lead a life without suffering has always been around us.
