A founding member and former Secretary of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, Mary Thompson , C.A.S., P.K.S., (Ayurvedacharya), graduated from the first graduating class of the California College of Ayurveda in 1997 and now is a senior teacher there.
She is a Certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist.
She is a recipient of the Charaka Award for Excellence in Ayurvedic Teaching and has been given the title of "Ayurvedacharya" (respected teacher of Ayurveda). She is also the founder of the non-profit organization, Everyday Ayurveda.
Dr. Dilip Gadgil, who has been honoured by Vice President of India and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra is a recipient of several awards and recognition for his key involvement with a Historical Landmark in the field of Ayurveda- The Triskandha Kosh Project which took 19 years to achieve completion. The term 'Triskandhakosha' refers to a compilation of every sutra from the Brihattrayi, Charaka,  Sushruta  and Vagbhata Samhitas. , The whole information is classified into three databases:
1. Hetukosha,  which elaborates on the spectrum of causative relationships between diet, behavior etc. and health and disease; 2. Lakshanakosha,  which elaborates symptom-disease-health relationships; and 3. Aushadhakosha,  which elaborates all such relationships from the perspective of treatment
The Triskandha Kosh Project is the only herculean project of its kind in the world of Ayurveda. Dr. Gadgil has been instrumental in its creation and has been recognized worldwide for his commendable contribution.

Robert is also a guest instructor for the Chopra Center for Well Being in San Diego and a lecturer in Tibetan Medicine for the Sino-American Rehabilitation Association College in Los Angeles.
He received his B.A. in Comparative Religion and Sociology at the University of Lancaster
He received his masters in social work from the university of Kentucky and is a licensed clinical social worker focusing on addictions, relationship, and issues around dying and death
Has studied Macrobiotics with Michio Kushi and Rex Lassalle at the Kushi Institute and completed Shiatsu training with Rex Lassalle
Robert studied Hatha Yoga under the guidance of Jonathan O’Dell and Johanna Auld and became certified as a Hatha Yoga instructor with the All India Board and Inner London Education Authority in 1978
